A fine photographer once said, “Once photography enters your bloodstream, it is like a disease.” Hello, I’m JJ Salvator and I believe that photography is the story I fail to put in words.
I am a true Road Islander. I have and will always appreciate the salty ocean, amazing sunsets, and annoying coastal seagulls. Born in March of 2005. At a young age, I found my love for sailing and recently found a major interest in race management (within sailboat racing). During the spring, summer, and fall months, I enjoy heading out on my 17 foot Edgewater skiff and traveling all around Narragansett Bay going from one regatta to the next either taking pictures, sailing, or hopping aboard the race committee. I also enjoy playing the piano, running around outdoors, traveling, and photography (bet you didn’t see that one coming).
It wasn’t too long ago when I found a massive interest for photography. About two years ago I found an older dslr camera for a pretty good price on ebay, having some money saved up from a babysitting job I decided to just go ahead and buy it! Being on the water around boats all summer I found this camera to be almost like a new set of eyes, a way to capture a moment and hold onto it, I soon realized my dslr was not a gopro and doesn’t hold up with water too well. Unfortunately, my first dslr camera could no longer be perished. Not having my camera for a long 2 months while I saved up for a new one, I was able to understand what being a photographer meant to me.
I built this photography website to post photos of my work for people like you to enjoy. All of my photos are free but please feel free to support me by following myself on social media and leaving a donation. Can't spell thank you without YOU!
